Hood Pass (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
- Email address used for sign-in and account communications.
- Display name or street name.
- Profile photographs or other images you upload.
- Optional age, location, biography, or profile details you choose to provide.
- Authentication provider information, including Google sign-in information when used.
- A user or account identifier used to operate your account.
Community-submitted content
Users may submit profiles or information about themselves or other people, including names, photographs, optional age, location, biography, claim email, and the submitting user’s identifier.
Voting and activity information
When an eligible user casts a PASS or DENY vote, Hood Pass may store the voter identifier, target profile identifier, vote, and timestamp. Proposed edits and account or profile requests may be stored while reviewed.
Support communications
If you contact us, we may retain the message and information needed to answer your request.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and operate accounts and profiles.
- To provide search, profile, voting, claiming, editing, and moderation features.
- To prevent abuse, investigate reports, and protect users and the service.
- To respond to support, privacy, removal, and account requests.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Hood Pass.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies.
3. Sharing
Profile information and community content may be visible to other users. We may use service providers to host, authenticate, maintain, and secure Hood Pass. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
4. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect users.
5. Your Choices
You may update certain profile information in the App. To request access, correction, account deletion, profile removal, or another privacy action, email admin@hoodpass.app. We may need to verify your identity.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as Hood Pass changes. The updated date above shows when the latest revision took effect.
